A honlap olyan kutatások gyűjt össze, amelyek a közép-európai térség irodalomtörténetét vizsgálják világirodalmi kontextusban. Ez a megközelítés egyszerre irányul a kelet-közép európai régió mint földrajzi-kulturális konstrukció elméleti újragondolására, illetve a térség nemzeti irodalmainak kölcsönhatásaiból létrejött sajátos világirodalmi tér összehasonlító elemzésére. A kutatások egyik fontos kiindulópontja a Bloomsbury kiadó Literatures as World Literature [Irodalmak mint világirodalom] című sorozatában megjelent vagy készülő közép-kelet európai irodalmakkal foglalkozó kötetetek tanulmányai.

Az oldal egyenlőre a magyar vonatkozású, az NKFI K138668, „A magyar irodalom mint világirodalom” című projekthez kötődő publikációkat és eseményeket gyűjti egybe, de a jövőben a térség kutatói számára is láthatóságot kívánunk biztosítani. Célunk egy nemzetközi tudásmegosztást elősegítő felület létrehozása.   

 

 

The website brings together research that examines the literary history of the Central/East European region in the context of world literature. This approach aims both at a theoretical rethinking of the Central and Eastern European region as a geographical-cultural concept and at a comparative analysis of specific literatures within the region. The books on national literary histories of the region in the Literatures as World Literature series published by Bloomsbury were an important starting point for this research.

 

The site currently collects Hungarian-related publications and events within the framework of the NKFI K138668 project "Hungarian Literature as World Literature", but in the future we would also like to provide visibility for other researchers in the region. Our aim is to create a platform for sharing knowledge internationally.
